While the rest of Australia didn’t get a look in WA’s Kimberley region made NY Times list of Top 52 places to visit in 2020.
Each year the New York Times releases there go-to travel locations and for 2020 it is the top of WA’s time to shine listed at #5 on the top 52 list.
The region is also listed in some fine companies as top tourist spots such as Sicily, Tokyo, Krakow, Leipzig, Copenhagen and Mongolia just to name a few.
Australia’s last frontier is rich in epic landscapes and otherworldly corals
The New York Times classified the region as “the least touristy part of Australia” and signaled that it’s now in bloom.
Natural wonders to see
the Bungle Bungle Range in the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park; the waterways of the mighty Ord River and Lake Argyle (one of the largest freshwater lakes in the Southern Hemisphere); and El Questro’s waterfalls, gorges and epic landscapes.
