Tyler’s Vineyard
Swan Valley favourite, Tyler’s Vineyard is home to century-old non-irrigated Grenache vines. It is cosy cellar door where you can chill out with family or friends over a nice glass or two of grenache wine of your preferred style: red, white, rosé, sparkling rosé and fortified. It also offers free label customising within minutes, making it an easy choice to take home a bottle of wine with your name on it!

Whicher Ridge
As you step out Whicher Ridge’s cellar door, you’ll find yourself in the equivalent of Alice in Wonderland for wine lovers. This boutique vineyard has a one-of-a-kind wine sensory garden with over 1000 square meters of thriving manicured gardens. The experience is overwhelming as you find yourself surrounded by orange blossoms, pears and lime in the Riesling plot, or by oregano, black currants and bay leaf in the Cabernet one. Lemongrass in Sauvignon Blanc, black peppercorn in Shiraz: they’re all there. Like plunging into a glass of wine from head to toes, all your senses come into play, and it’s easy to lose yourself exploring this new world of wine.

John Kosovich Wines
John Kosovich Wines was established in 1922 in the Swan Valley, is the oldest winery run and operated by the original family. It’s always exciting to visit this winery with their underground cellar door, walking through the barrel room to get to the tasting area makes it an awesome experience. To make your wine experience that extra tasty, there is a light cheese platter on offer as a new experience (bookings recommended).

Upper Reach Winery
Upper Reach Winery is the place to go if wanting to gain greater insight into all things wine. Here you can learn about wine with their fun and educational wine classes that includes a behind the scenes look into the winemaking process. Depending on the class level, you also will have a stroll through their vineyard with a glass of wine in hand and if you’re lucky enough you can even taste the juice directly from the tank/barrel.

Passel Estate
The family-owned Passel Estate is located just off the Caves Road scenic route in Margaret River. The tasting room is the perfect setting to enjoy Passel Estate’s wines with an almost 180-degree view of the green estate and its bushland surrounds, making it easy to feel the sense of place in the glass.
The estate is also a sanctuary for Western Ringtail possums, with many endangered native species calling the area home after the 2011 Margaret River bushfires.

Millbrook Winery
Millbrook Winery is a hidden paradise located 50 minutes south-east of Perth. Near the Serpentine River and is nestled among jarrah forests, with stunning views of the rolling landscape. A memorable day when you visit this winery with a basket in tow with plenty of beautiful areas to picnic. There is also a restaurant and cellar door for something more traditional.
