Floating around a sparkling infinity pool with a cocktail in hand, beachfront views, and palm trees swaying overhead – did someone say Bali?

As Perth residents and born and bred Aussies, Bali is naturally one of our favourite island holiday destinations. If not for the mouthwatering food options, friendly locals, stunning culture and tropical weather, for the numerous beach clubs dotted around the island serving up eats, drinks, and plenty of good vibes on the shoreline.

Flick that vacay switch on, here are 13 of the best Bali beach clubs to laze around at.

Café Del Mar is one of the hottest venues in Bali right now, bringing an authentic taste of Ibiza to the shores of Canggu.

It’s 10,000 square metres of white and blue beachfront pool club spilling out onto Berawa Beach featuring an infinity pool, luxury cabanas, swim-up bars shaking up delicious cocktails, Mediterranean-inspired bites in their restaurant, and multiple lounges to sink into all day long.

Mano has taken a classic beach house and reimagined it with super sleek and chic feels.

Here, the concept of slow island living is celebrated and accommodated with shady canopies sitting by the pool, ocean views stretching out ahead, tropically inspired cocktails, a contemporary menu of eats, and laid-back tunes setting the mood as you drift away into relaxation.

3. TT Beach Club

The backdrop of TT Beach Club is rugged cliffs and glittering waves, making this bamboo-clad paradise completely picture-perfect.

The bamboo structure was designed by locals and encompasses all the gorgeous Balinese artisanship we adore. Days here consist of relaxing in breezy cabanas, dipping into one of the two infinity pools, and grazing on a wide menu of drool-worthy bites, while the night that follows sees live international DJs take to the stage to keep the good vibes going.

It’s hard not to dream about being perched up on a sun lounge chair here with a cocktail in hand.

We can never go past stopping by Sundays Beach Club every time we visit Bali. If not for the simply breathtaking views, for the cocktails, food, live music, and sunset bonfires. We’d recommend blocking out a whole day to laze around here if you can.

5. Potato Head

Potato Head is arguably the OG of Bali beach clubs, remaining popular among tourists to this day and paving the way for those to come.

You’d likely recognise it by the unique patchwork of window shutter walls on the entrance, and the architecture inside is just as lively and aesthtically pleasing. The beachfront spot is home to an infinity pool, restaurants, day beds, and plenty of cocktails we totally heart. Catch us lazing around here for hours on end.

6. La Brisa

If you haven’t heard, Canggu is a hot topic in Bali at the moment – it’s all happening in this artsy, boho capital.

La Brisa combines wooden shack with chic tropical vibes while serving up a range of fruity beachfront cocktails. It’s pretty casual here, and you can plop down on a beanbag to watch the waves roll in along Echo Beach with a few share plates or float away in one of the multiple pools under a glowing sky.

7. Mari Beach Club

Mari is a little more on the luxurious side as far as beach clubs go, oozing with modern and stylish interiors and nods to the local culture throughout.

The magic of Bali is captured through a bamboo dome representing Mount Agung and wooden swings replicating those found in the village of Tenganan. In its centre you’ll find an inviting wading pool symbolising the sacred Agung River, while other features include an infinity pool, sun deck, sunken bar and plenty of cabanas and daybeds to lay back on.

8. Savaya

The Edge offers keen daredevils the opportunity to swim out to the end hanging out over coastal cliffs and peer down through a glass bottom to the ocean. If you’re feeling a bit queasy at the mere thought of that, sit on solid land and sip on a crafted cocktail from the all-star mixologist team.

10. Finns Beach Club

Finns is famous among those heading to Bali to let loose and party a little (or a lot), but it still caters for all kinds of holiday goers.

The iconic bamboo club in Canggu serves as a tropical oasis for all seeking a few cocktails, a late night dance under the stars, front row views over the sea, a few hours lounging under the sun or a full-blown wild party with some of the world’s most famous DJs.

11. Azul

This large-scale bamboo tree house is just brimming with gorgeous little spots to drink, eat and socialise.

It overlooks the sands of Padma Beach in Legian, and stands apart from the crowd because of its Tiki Bar serving up signature craft cocktails in custom-made glassware. Let the salty air embrace you in the open air restaurant, grab a lounger by the pool and catch some rays, and cool off in the infinity pool.

12. Ohana’s

Ranking as one of the world’s best, Rock Bar is a cliff-top escape worth a visit and the perfect way to complete our best beach club in Bali list.

Sitting 14 meters above the ocean at the base of AYANA’s towering cliffs, and offers panoramic views across crashing ocean waves with one of their signature cocktails in hand. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better spot to enjoy a glorious Balinese sunset, and the minimalistic architecture designed by Japanese Architect Yasuhiro Koichi is just as beautiful as the location.
