Booking.com has crunched the numbers and released its latest trends for snow destinations in 2022. Their research shows that Australians are keen to hit the slopes again, and with an icy blast setting the season off early with a dumping of snow, it’s about time to start planning the winter vacation.
Here are the top 10 snow destinations in Australia to live out your winter wonderland dreams.
1. Jindabyne, NSW
At the top of our best snow destinations in Australia list is Jindabyne an alpine town sitting just on the edge of the Snowy Mountains at the base of Mount Kosciuszko. So naturally, it’s snagged the number one spot.
Often referred to as the ski haven, expect spectacular snow-swept vistas, skiing, snowboarding, and picturesque villages. There’s a wide range of lodges and inns to cosy up in on your stay, as well as tasty dining options dotted around town to warm your belly and perfect views of Lake Jindabyne.

2. Mount Buller, VIC
