It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in two rooms at DoubleTree Hilton Hotel, Melbourne.
For the second year running, Ugg Express and DoubleTree have partnered to transform the hotel’s Flinders Street Station view rooms into cosy winter wonderland hideaways. Last year, just one room was available for booking. This year, they’ve upped the ante and have listed two Christmas-themed rooms for the taking.
From November 1st to January 10th, guests can stay in either the ‘white Christmas’ or ‘Santa’s workshop’ rooms.
Visitors will be transported to the Northern Hemisphere in the ‘white Christmas’ room experiencing a snowy Christmas that we in Australia never will.
The room has been decked out in true Ugg style, with guests able to slide into a pair of traditional premium Australian sheepskin slippers and curl up with a good book on the sheepskin throw-adorned armchair.
Book a night in ‘Santa’s workshop’ for something a little more whimsical. It’s been decorated in such a way that even the Grinch will enjoy Christmas.
Guests can write a letter to Santa and wear reindeer slippers, ugg boots, and a soft rabbit eye mask – the perfect precursor to a night filled with Christmas-related dreams.
It’s perfect for the big kids at heart and anyone who can’t resist a little holiday cheer.
Both rooms come complete with the staple Christmas Tree, a light-up wreath, and a child-sized nutcracker. One of the Hilton’s staple warm cookies will be waiting on arrival, with complimentary hot chocolate, marshmallows, and breakfast for two thrown in, too.
