A 35-metre-long rooftop infinity pool in Melbourne’s Docklands precinct is set to make quite the splash when it opens to holidaymakers in 2026. Sitting atop a 15-storey, two-tower development, the whopping pool is slated to be the largest of its kind in the country.

Taking pride of place on the roof of a sky bridge, the pool will boast a 360-degree panorama of the Melbourne city skyline — a view that only gets better the lower the sun dips towards the horizon. Guests at the infinity pool can relax in a private cabana or on a reclining deck chair while the sun is still up, diverting to the restaurant (set half a level above) for a post-sunset feed.

Use of the pool will be reserved only for guests of the 200-room Collection by TFE hotel and 105-room A by Adina Hotel that will occupy the two towers. However, the proposed luxury retail precinct, day spa, and conference centre will be open to all.

The currently unnamed development will open at 28-38 Pearl River Road in Docklands in 2026, with construction set to begin in the second half of 2023.
