Virgin has slashed flight prices to Perth for the Eastern states
Visitors from the Eastern states have yet another reason to visit Western Australia, with Virgin offering half price return flights to Perth in a one week sale that begins today.
One way flights start from $119 from Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide.
The ‘Escape to WA’ campaign is the result of a partnership between Virgin and the McGowan Government through Tourism WA, and aims to inject over $11 million into WA accommodation and tourism businesses.
The campaign is targeted at people in eastern states wishing to visit family and friends, or those who want to holiday in Australia instead of overseas.
The deal is available for just one week until June 27, and tickets can be purchased through Virgin’s website.
Tourism Minister Roger Cook says WA has amazing momentum at the moment, and is sending a message around the world to come and visit.
“Our goal is to share our extraordinary part of the country with the rest of Australia and encourage visitors to experience the vast array of high-end and newly opened accommodation options in Perth and in our stunning regions.”
“The best thing we can do for the tourism sector is get tourists back travelling, spending money and enjoying all the amazing holiday destinations Western Australia has to offer.
